Possible Live Stream of The Smashing Pumpkins at Glastonbury Festival
Earlier today, the BBC announced that this year will be the “most digital Glastonbury ever”. Their website indicates that over 120 live performances will air exclusively on the BBC on TV, radio, red button and online. Although there is no specific mention of The Smashing Pumpkins, the BBC plans on live-streaming from the six key music stages, including “The Other Stage”. These particular streams will be available on PC, mobile, tablet and connected TV. For international fans not residing in the UK, the website specifies that a 6-hour highlights package of the performances from the three-day festival will broadcast on numerous stations around the world starting on June 30th, 2013 at 18:00 BST.
For those who might be able to record this pro-shot performance, The Smashing Pumpkins will be on “The Other Stage” on June 30th. This will be the first time the band has played at the famed Glastonbury Festival since 1997.
